Lois   Burke

Lois Lennie Burke loving daughter of Lennon and Martha Newell was born on February 3, 1906 in Bios Content, St. Catherine, Jamaica W.I. She was affectionately known to many as Aunt, and spent her younger years doting on her twin brothers Jessa and Rufus. Lios also enjoyed gardening, sewing and working on her farm, and carried these skills into her adult life. Her passion was teaching, and she taught grade school for a number of years. Lois grew up as a staunch christian under the teaching of the Anglican Church.
